Who We Are

When as a little girl I drew abstract shapes that set my imagination on fire, little did I know that one day I will see these shapes for real. The advent of electron microscopy and immunofluorescence has made this possible. Microscopic worlds I had once created on paper came to life.

Choosing a masters in gene therapy was a no-brainer for me. As soon as I saw the presentation on this latest method with potential to bring life-changing therapies, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
Today I feel the same excitement about the development of human-based 3D in vitro methods that are about to transform science and medicine.
By replacing animal models with patient-specific tissues, scientists will find out what are the factors at play in human diseases and use this knowledge to develop innovative therapies and improve safety and efficacy of medication.

I rejoice with every new published study of human organoids, human organs-on-chip, adverse outcome pathways, multi-omics, bioprinting, and would love to assist you in your efforts of communicating memorably your findings.
